Essie - Snap Happy

Jag tänkte fortsätta i samma tema som igår genom att visa er en färg som ni inte har fått se på bloggen på länge. Dessutom får ni också se ett lackmärke som inte har dykt upp på bloggen sedan februari. Så idag är det färgen röd som är på tapeten och märket Essie.

I thought that I would continue the same theme as I had yesterday by showing you a color that hasn't been on the blog for a while. You also get to see a polish brand that I haven't shown you since February. So today the color is red and the brand is Essie.

Snap Happy släpptes med Essies julkollektion Leading Lady vintern 2012. Det här lacket har stått oanvänt i mina lådor sen dess och det är synd märker jag nu, för lacket är riktigt fint. Den har en röd orange färg eller korall skulle man väl kunna kalla det med. Jag är vanligtvis inte så förtjust i rött men det här tycker jag verkligen om.

Snap Happy was released with Essie's Christmas collection Leading Lady the winter 2012. This polish has been laying around unused in my drawers since then and that's a shame because this polish is really pretty. It has a red orange color or coral I guess you could call it as well. I'm normally not so fond of reds but this one I really like.

Jag förstår egentligen inte varför det inte finns mer Essie i min samling för jag gillar verkligen deras lack. De håller hög kvalitet och det finns många fina färger att välja mellan. Innan tyckte jag att Essie mest hade lack i rött, rosa och beige men nu har de ju släppt en hel del roliga färger det senaste. Butler Please till exempel som råkar vara ett av mina favoritlack.

I don't really understand why there aren't more Essie in my collection since I really like their polishes. They have a high quality and there are a lot of nice colors to chose from. I used to have the impression that Essie mostly had polishes in red, pink and beige but lately they have released a lot of fun colors. Butler Please for example that happens to be one of my favorite polishes.

Formulan var bra, två lager krävdes för full täckning men det var inte långt ifrån att det hade räckt med enbart ett. Lacket torkar extremt fort och är verkligen högglansigt alldeles av sig själv. Jag har inget topplack på bilderna och ni ser ju hur fint det är.

The formula was great, two coats were enough for full coverage but it was almost enough with just one. The polish dries extremely fast and it is really shiny on itself. I'm not wearing any top coat on the pictures and you can see how beautiful the polish really is.
