OPI - If You Moust You Moust

Jag har lyckats visa er ett par av mina favoriter när det kommer till rosa lack under veckan som gått och som jag inte har visat er på bloggen tidigare, idag får ni ytterligare ett sådant lack. Lacket ni får se idag är mitt go-to-lack när det kommer till rosa naglar, är jag sugen på rosa så är det med 90 procents säkerhet att det är det här lacket som åker fram.

I've manage to show you a couple of my favorite polishes when it comes to pink polishes during the week and that I haven't showed you before, today you get one more of those polishes. The polish I'm showing you today is my go-to polish when it comes to pink nails, when I'm craving pink it's with 90 procent certainty that this is the polish I use.

If You Moust You Moust släpptes i OPI's kollektion Vintage Minne försommaren 2012. Jag var spänd på kollektionen redan innan den släpptes och jag måste säga att den levde upp till mina förväntningar, det är en fin kollektion, inte fantastisk men fin. Det här lacket är helt klart min favorit ur kollektionen. Jag älskar den tuggummirosa färgen.

If You Moust You Moust was released in OPI's collection Vintage Minne in the early summer of 2012. I were excited about the collection before it was released and I have to say that it lived up to my expectation, it's a nice collection, not fantastic but nice. This polish is for sure my favorite from the collection. I love the bubblegum pink color.

Formulan på det här lacket är kanon! Jag fick göra två lager för att verkligen få det heltäckande men närmare ett "one-coat-lack" än det här kan man nog inte komma. Lacket torkar riktigt snabbt och hela appliceringen är lite av en dröm.

The forumla in this polish is awesome! I had to do two coats to really get it to cover but you can't come closer to a "one-coater" than with this polish. The polish dries really fast and the whole application is like a dream.

Blå Måndag: OPI - I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw

Måndag är här igen och nu är det bara två blåa måndagar kvar till min semester. Åh, vad jag längtar. Jag har inga planer överhuvudtaget och det är så skönt, jag ska bara ta det som det kommer och göra sådant jag tycker är skoj. Visst låter det underbart? Vad ska ni hitta på på eran semester?

Monday is here again and now it's only two blue Mondays left until my holiday. Oh, how I long! I don't have any plans what so ever and that feels great, I'm just going to go along as it comes and only do things I love. Doesn't that sound wonderful? What are your plans for your holidays?

Idag tänkte jag visa er ett OPI-lack som jag är säker på att ni har sett många gånger förut men inte hos mig. Jag kan egentligen inte svara på varför det här lacket har stått orört hos mig. Kanske för att jag har varit så förtjust i ljusa lack det senaste och det kan man inte kalla det här. I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw har inte bara världens längsta namn det är också ett mörkt blått krämlack.

Today I'm going to show you an OPI polish that I'm sure you have seen many times before but not here. I can't really tell you this polish hasn't been used before but maybe it is because I have had a huge crush on light polishes lately and you can't call this one light. I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw doesn't only have the longest name in the world it is also a dark blue creme.

Formulan är fantastiskt i det här lacket, det är nästan att det räcker med ett lager men eftersom naglarna blir lite flammiga då så fick det bli två lager och sedan ett lager topplack på det. Lacket torkar relativt fort.

The formula is fantastic in this polish, it's almost enough with one coat but since the nails get a bit mottled so I had to do another coat and then one coat topcoat upon that. The polish dried pretty quickly.

Ni kommer få se det här lacket imorgon med men då som bas till en nail art jag har fixat till jobbfesten jag ska gå på imorgon. Vill ni se fler snygga lack redan nu så ska ni gå till Linda som är värdinna för Blå Måndag.

OPI - Vant to Bite My Neck?

Jaha, nystarten av bloggen går ju fantastiskt bra märker jag. Hade gjort tidsinställda inlägg för idag och igår och ser nu att jag måste ha glömt att trycka på publicera för uppenbarligen så har ju inga inlägg kommit ut på bloggen. Så ni får gårdagens inlägg sent idag och så tar vi det inlägg som var tänkt till idag imorgon istället.

Jag vill börja med att be om ursäkt för plåstret på pekfingret. Jag hade en liten olycka i köket häromdagen och för att inte skrämma er med äckliga sår så fick det bli ett Mumin-plåster istället. Här går jag runt och kallar mig själv för sjuksköterska och så har jag bara Bamse- och Mumin-plåster hemma, det är ju så att man skäms lite. Det kan nog i alla fall vara så att ni får dras med plåsterbilder ett litet tag framöver tills fingret ser lite trevligare ut.

Lacket jag tänker visa er idag är OPI's Vant to Bite My Neck? som släpptes med Euro Centrale-kollektionen tidigare i vår. Det är ett mörkt lila krämlack och även om det kanske inte är den mest spännande eller ovanligaste färgen så tycker jag ändå om det. Det känns kanske lite mörkt för årstiden som är nu, i alla fall när man som jag riktigt suktar efter färgstarka glada sommarfärgen just nu. 

I vanlig ordning så håller OPI's lack en hög standard, formulan går det inte att klaga på. Två lager krävs för full täckning och det torkar snabbt.

Translation: Ok, the fresh start of the blog isn't going that great. I had made timeset posts for today and yesterday and now I realized that I must have forgot to press publish because no post has been going out to the blog. So you'll get yesterdays post tonight and then tomorrow we move on to the post that was planned for today.

I want to start by appologizing for my Band-Aid on my index finger. I had a small accident in the kitchen the other day and since I don't want to scare you with gross wound pictures it had to be a Mumin Band-Aid instead. Here I am calling myself a nurse and all the Band-Aids I own are Bamse and Mumin, it's embarrassing really. Any how, you might have to see Band-Aid pictures for a little while until the wound looks better.

The polish I'm going to show you today is OPI's Vant to Bite My Neck? that was released with the Euro Centrale collection earlier this spring. It's a dark purple creme and even if it's not the most exciting or rare color I still like it. It feels a bit dark for this time a year, especially if you like me are craving colorful happy summer colors.

As usual OPI has a high standard and you can't complain at the formula. Two coats is enough to get it opaque and it dries fast.

OPI - Goldeneye

Vad har hänt med det fina vädret vi har haft det sista? Idag vaknade jag upp till en grå och blöt värld. Lite regn var väl i och för sig välbehövligt men fy vad tråkigt och jag saknar redan solen som tusan. Det går ju inte att fotografera fina bilder i det här ljuset direkt. Så idag bjuds ni på ett av de få lacken som finns i mitt arkiv.

Ni som har läst min blogg ett tag har säkert lyckats lista ut att guld- och bronsfärgade lack inte direkt är min kopp av te. Jag tycker att de är fina men trivs inte speciellt bra med dem på naglarna av någon anledning. Men med OPIs Goldeneye så känner jag faktiskt annorlunda, det här lacket är jättefint både i flaskan och på naglarna.

Goldeneye kom ut med OPIs Skyfall-kollektion och är ett glitterlack med guldfärgat mikroglitter i en klar bas. Det är väldigt opakt för att vara ett klarbaserat glitterlack men om man vill använda det för sig själv utan ett annat lack som bas så krävs i alla fall tre lager. Lacket har en fantastisk lyster och det känns som att man har riktigt guld över hela naglarna. Superfint är det!

Sen kan man ju fundera varför OPI bestämde sig för att döpa lacket till Goldeneye och inte Goldfinger. Det kanske tycker att det är ett för uppenbart namn men jag tycker att det hade varit roligt eller vad tycker ni? 

Translation: What happened to the beautiful weather we have had lately? Today I woke up to a grey and wet world. A little rain is probably needed but it's so boring and I miss the sun already. It's impossible to take good pictures with the lighting we're having so today I'm showing you one of the few polishes I have in my archive.

Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while has probably figured out that gold and bronze polishes isn't exactly my cup of tea. I think they are nice but I don't like them on my nails for some reason. But with OPI's Goldeneye it's different, this polish is gorgeous both in the bottle and on my nails.

Goldeneye was released with OPI's Skyfall collection and it's a glitter with golden microglitter in a clear base.  It's very opaqued for a clearbased glitter but if you want to use it by itself without another polish as a base you will need at least three coats. The polish has an amazing glow and it feels like you have real gold on your nails. It's super pretty!

I can't help but to wonder why OPI decided to name this polish Goldeneye and not Goldfinger. Maybe that would have been a too obvious name but I would have thought that was fun or what do you think?

Blå Måndag: OPI - Can't Find My Czechbook

Här lovar jag i förra veckan att jag inte skulle visa mer OPI på ett tag och ändå så har jag redan visat er två stycken sedan dess. Jag är visst inte så bra på att stå fast vid mina beslut men när det är fina lack så spelar det ju egentligen inte så stor roll. Idag är det ju som bekant Blå Måndag och även om Mrs. Data har lämnat över stafettpinnen till Lindas Nailorama så lever temadagen kvar (kul tycker jag) och jag tänkte att jag skulle vara med idag med grunden till gårdagens nail art.

Varför envisas Blogger med att vända på mina bilder så här ibland? Suck!

Can't Find My Czechbook är ett superhärligt blått lack med en svag grön ton som min kamera inte alls vill fånga. De två sista bilderna blev nog mest verklighetstrogna. Hur som helst så är det här ett lack helt i min smak, det är så vårigt och fint. Lacket är otroligt lättlackat och är precis så där lagom tunt i min mening, inte alls så att det rinner ner i nagelbanden. Det blir lite strimmigt med första lagret men med ett andra så blir det både jämnt och opakt.

Translation: Last week I promised not to show you any OPI's for a while and still here I go again for the second time since then. Obviously I'm not that good at doing as I say but who cares when it comes to beautiful polishes. As you know today it's Blue Monday and even though Mrs. Data has given her relay baton to Lindas Nailorama the theme day is still alive (fun!) and I thought that I would participate with the base color from my nail art yesterday.

Can't Find My Czechbook is an amazing blue polish with a hint of green in it which my camera sadly wouldn't pick up. The last two pictures are closest to the truth. Anyway, this is a polish just in my taste, it's the perfect spring color and truly beautiful. The polish is very easy to work with and has the perfect thin formula in my opinion, it doesn't run down your cuticles. It takes two coats to get it opaque.

Nail Art Sunday: Blå Gradient

Som ni minns så var ju inte jag med och deltog på förra veckans Nail Art Sunday hos Lelack, det fanns inte tid och ork helt enkelt. Men vad tråkigt det kändes efteråt. Jag trodde faktiskt aldrig att jag skulle säga det här men Nail Art Sunday har blivit lite av min blogghöjdpunkt i veckan. Jag tycker det, jag som inte vågade ge mig på nail art. Ibland överraskar man till och med sig själv. I alla fall, eftersom jag missade förra veckans tema som var gradienter och jag egentligen hade planerat precis vad jag ville göra då så tänkte jag göra det den här veckan istället när det är valfritt tema.

Jag har gjort en gradient tidigare, även den till Nail Art Sunday, och valde då en mer diskret kombination av färger. Därför tänkte jag ge mig på två färger som inte är så lika varandra den här gången och valet föll på OPI's Can't Find My Czechbook och OPI...Eurso Euro från Euro Centrale-kollektionen. Jag glömde visst att göra rent runt naglarna märkte jag när bilderna kom in i datorn, att man alltid ska upptäcka vad man har missat när det är försent.

Jag är faktiskt riktigt nöjd med resultatet, långfingret blev så där men de andra fingrarna blev bra mycket bättre än vad jag hade tänkt mig. Jag trodde att det skulle vara svårare att få färgerna att gå ihop i varandra på ett snyggt sätt men var inte så farligt trots allt. Nästa gång det är gradientdags så ska jag nog testa att göra en glittergradient tror jag.

Translation: As you remember I didn't take part in last weeks Nail Art Sunday at Lelack, there simple just wasn't enough time and energy. But it felt really bad afterwards. I never thought that I would say this but Nail Art Sunday har actually become my favorite blogpost of the week. I think so, I, who didn't have the guts to try nail art. Sometimes you can even surprise yourself. Anyway, because I missed last weeks theme which was gradients and I had everything planed I thought I would do that this week instead when there's an optional theme.

I have made one gradient before, for Nail Art Sunday as well, and then I chose a more subtile combination of colors. So now I thought that I would go for two colors who are a bit more different from each other and I chose to go with OPI's Can't Find My Czechbook and OPI...Eurso Euro from the Euro Centrale collection. When I saw the pictures in my computer I realized that I forgot to clean up around the nails, why are you always realizing your misstakes when it's too late?

I'm actually pretty pleased with the results, my middle finger was no success but the other nails actually became much better than I thought they would. I thought that it would be more difficult to get the colors to blend in with each other but it wasn't so hard after all. Next time I feel for a gradient I probably will try to do a glitter one.

Holofredag: OPI DS - Extravagance

Någon mer än jag som glädjes åt att solen har varit framme hela veckan? Hur otroligt skönt är inte det. Nu väntar jag bara spänt på att temperaturen ska stiga något så att vårjackan kan få komma fram. Enligt mig finns det två saker med våren som nästan slår alla de andra och det är att man kan lägga upp vinterjackan på vinden och att allt grus sopas upp från gatorna. Jösses vad jag längtar dit.

Idag är det fredag och det innebär att Skimmerskuggans holofredag är tillbaka. Jag har varit sådär duktig på att vara med i temadagarna det sista men det ska bli ändring på det nu tänkte jag. Mitt bidrag till veckans holofredag är förvisso inte det mest uppenbart holografiska lacket men herregud vad snyggt det här är. OPI's Extravagance som tillhör deras Designer Serie är nog ett av de snyggaste lacken jag någonsin har haft på mina naglar. Jag är upp över öronen förälskad i denna skönhet!

Extravagance är ett rödtonat lila lack med subtilt holoskimmer men hjälp vad vackert det är i solljus. Det kastar inga regnbågar alls men det har en fantastisk lyster och jag kan inte sluta titta på mina naglar. Formulan är en dröm, lacket blir opakt på två lager och det flyter ut över nageln som smör.

Om du inte har det här lacket och funderar på att köpa det, gör det! Det här är utan tvekan ett av de finaste lacken jag har i min samling. Jag kan inte fatta att jag väntade så länge som jag gjorde på att skaffa det.

Translation: Anyone else who's is happy about the sun that has been shining all week? How amazing isn't that! Now I'm waiting patiently for the warmth to come so I can take out my spring jacket. According to me there are two things with the spring that almost beat all others, when you can leave your winter jacket in the attic and when they sweep all the gravel away. God I'm longing to be there.

Today it's Friday and with that Skimmerskuggan's Holo Friday is back! I haven't been good at taking part 
in the theme days lately but I'm going to change that now. My contribution to this weeks Holo Friday might not be the most out there holo but oh my God this is gorgeous. OPI's Extravagance that's a part of their Designer Serie is probably one of the most gorgeous polishes I've ever worn on my nails. I'm head over heels in love with this beauty!

Extravagance is a redtoned purple polish with subtile holoshimmer but it's so beautiful in the sun. It doesn't show rainbows but it has an amazing glow to it and I can't stop looking at my nails. The formula is a dream, the polish is opaque in two coats and it applies like butter.


If you don't own this polish and are thinking about getting it, do it! This is without doubt one of the most gorgeous polishes I have in my collection. I can't understand why it took me so long to get it.

OPI Mariah Carey Collection Vår 2013

Hurra! Jag har lyckats visa er en hel kollektion för allra första gången och tänkte därför också visa er min första kollektionssammanfattning där jag listar lacken från det jag gillade bäst till det jag tyckte sämst om även om det har varit jättesvårt att bestämma. Jag har en ganska klar uppfattning vilka jag gillar mest och vilka jag gillar minst men däremellan är det betydligt mycket svårare. Överlag så måste jag säga att Mariah Carey-kollektionen har varit lite av en överraskning som har lärt mig att både struktur- och frostlack kanske inte är så farligt som jag har velat tro.

Translation: Hurray! I managed to show you a whole collection for the very first time and therefore I'm also going to show you my very first summarising where I list the polishes from the one I liked the most to the one I liked the least. I have my mind pretty set on which polishes I like the most and the least but the ones in between are really difficult to decide about. Over all I have to say that the Mariah Carey-collection has surprised me by teaching me that bought structure and frosty polishes doesn't have to be as bad as I like to believe.

OPI - Sprung

Då var det dags för det sista OPI-lacket ur Mariah Carey kollektionen och ingen tycker nog att det är skönare än jag. OPI gör fantastiska lack med det blir lite segt att visa samma märke dag ut och dag in. Så idag säger vi hejdå till det här märket för ett litet tag och går vidare med andra skönheter som spänt väntar på att få visa upp sig.

Sist ut i den här kollektionen är Sprung som också råkar vara det lack jag tycker minst om av alla åtta Mariah Carey-lack. Det är egentligen inte att det är en ful färg på något vis utan det är helt enkelt så att jag inte trivs i den här typen av färger, inte alls faktiskt. Bilderna jag bjuder på idag är inget bra alls, jag hade jättesvårt att fota det här lacket på ett bra sätt. För finare bilder kan ni kika in hos Polishaholic.

Sprung är i alla fall ett kopparfärgat skimmerlack med rosa toner och jag har inga liknande lack i min samling även om Deborah Lippmans Phoenix Rising är lite likt. Formulan var något tunn men lacket byggdes ändå på bra och blev helt opakt på tre lager. Nej, det här lacket tilltalar inte mig alls och jag kommer troligtvis inte att använda det igen.

Translation: It's now time to show the last OPI polish from the Mariah Carey collection and I don't think that anyone is more pleased about this than I. OPI makes fantastic polishes but it gets a bit boring showing the same brand day out and day in. So today we're saying good bye to this brand for a while and move on to other beauties that's waiting for their time in the spotlight.

The last polish from the collection is Sprung who also happens to be the polish that I like the least out of the eight polishes from the Mariah Carey-collection. It's not that it's a ugly polish I just don't feel comfortable wearing this kind of colors, not at all actually. The pictures I'm showing you today aren't that good, I had a lot of troubles photographing this polish. For better pictures take a look at Polishaholic's.

Sprung is a coppery shimmer with a touch of pink and I have no other polish like this one in my collection even though Deborah Lippmans Phoenix Rising is a bit similar. The formula was quite thin but the polish built up nicely and got opaque at three coats. No, this polish doesn't speak to me at all and I doubt that I will use it again.
