Blå Måndag: Color Club - Evolution

Ni kanske har märkt så är bloggen i full gång igen efter en sommar med mycket uppehåll. Som så många andra har det varit svårt att kunna sitta still inne vid datorn när det har varit så fantastiskt fint väder ute men nu när sommaren helt klart går åt höst och solen har blivit lite mer blyg så känns det mer okej att spendera kvällarna framför min egna blogg och likaså de jag följer. Och ärligt talat, det känns riktigt bra och framför allt kul att få igång bloggen igen.

You might have noticed that the blog is in full action again after a summer with a lot of breaks. Like so many others it has been difficult to sit inside by the computer when the weather has been amazing outside but now when the summer for sure is moving on to fall and the sun is a bit more shy it feels ok to spend the evenings in front of my blog as well as the ones I follow. And to be honest, it feels really good and above all fun to get the blog going again.

Idag är det ju måndag som ni vet och i och med detta även Blå måndag hos Tove. Jag tänkte att jag skulle delta med ett lack ur Color Clubs sommarkollektion Kaleidoscope. Lacket heter Evolution och är ett vackert himmelsblått krämlack. Färgen kanske inte är unik men fin är den allt.

Today it's Monday like you know which also means that it's Blue Monday at Tove's. I thought I should participate with a polish from Color Club's Summer collection Kaleidoscope. The polish is called Evolution and it's a beautiful sky blue creme. The color might not be unique but it sure is pretty.

Formulan är något tunn men lacket är ändå lättapplicerat och rinner inte ut nagelbanden. På bilderna har jag två lager lack och som ni ser så är det tillräckligt för att lacket ska täcka helt. Jag gillar det här lacket riktigt mycket, färgen är fantastisk fin och det är ett perfekt sommarlack och även om det inte är så mycket kvar på sommaren så kan vi ju njuta av det ändå.

The formula is a bit thin but the polish is still easy to applicate in it doesn't run down into your cuticles. On the pictures I'm wearing two coats and as you can see that's enough to get the polish to cover completely. I like this polish a lot, the color is fantastic and it's perfect for summer and even though there isn't that much left of summer we can still enjoy it.

Blå Måndag: KIKO - Pearly Siren

Lika bra att visa ett av KIKO-lacken med en gång eller vad säger ni? De här lacken är svåra att hålla sig ifrån måste jag erkänna. Ett par av dem har jag redan använt flera gånger. Först ut är så klart ett blått lack i och med att det är Blå Måndag hos Linda idag. Men Linda har semester så om ni vill se fler blåa lack ikväll så är Tove vikarie för Blå Måndag resten av sommaren och listan över deltagare hittar ni hos henne.

I better start with one of my KIKO polishes right away or what do you think? These polishes are hard to keep away from that's for sure. I have used a couple of them several times already. First out is of course a blue polish since it's Blue Monday at Linda's today. Although Linda is on vacation so if you want to see more blue polishes tonight Tove is the sub for Blue Monday rest of the summer and the list of all the participant at will be seen at her blog.

Pearly Siren är det första KIKO-lacket som någonsin har visats på den här bloggen men så klart inte det sista som ni förstår. Lacket tillhör KIKOs Celebration-kollektion som de också kallar för Colors of the World. Det är ett blått skimmerlack med väldigt subtilt skimmer i lila. Det var mer eller mindre omöjligt att få med skimret på bilderna och ni får därför hålla er tillgodo med bilder på ett lack som ser helt blått ut. Dessutom är bilderna rätt suddiga, vet inte vad det här lacket gjorde med min kamera men fnatt fick den i alla fall.

Pearly Siren is the first KIKO polish that has ever been shown on this blog but of course not the last one as you can understand. The polish is a part of KIKO's Celebration collection who is also called Colors of the Wind. It's a blue shimmer with a very subtile purple shimmer. It was more or less impossible to catch the shimmer in the photos and therefor you have to settle with pictures of a polish that looks completely blue. The pictures are also pretty blurry, I don't know what this polish did to my camera but it lost it for sure.

Även om lacket är en mardröm att fotografera så är lacket i sig en dröm. Formulan är kanon, det är lättapplicerat och torkar på ett kick. Dessutom är det riktigt snyggt och definitivt unikt i min samling. Två lager räcker för att lacket ska täcka helt och det är ju inte dumt det heller.

Even if the polish is a nightmare to photograph the polish itself is a dream. The formula is awesome, it's easy to apply and it dries super fast. It's also really gorgeous and definitely unique in my collection. Two coats is enough to make the polish opaque and that's not too bad either.

Blå Måndag: Isadora - Bel-Air Blue

Jag kan inte säga det tillräckligt många gånger hur imponerad jag är av Isadoras nagellack det här året. De har verkligen släppt hur många högpigmenterade nagellack som helst i de mest otroliga färgerna. Det är helt enkelt omöjligt att motstå dem hur strikt köpstopp jag än har.

I can't tell you enough how impressed I am by Isadora's nail polish this year. They really have released a lot of high pigmented polishes in the most amazing colors. They are impossible to resist no matter how much of a buy break I am on.

Bel-Air Blue är egentligen inget nytt lack utan det har funnits i flera år men återsläpptes i sommar och vad tacksam jag är för det, annars kunde jag ha missat den här snyggingen. 

To be honest Bel-Air Blue isn't a new polish and it has actually been around for years but it was re-released this summer and how greatful am I? I would have missed this beauty otherwise.

Det räcker nästintill med ett lager men om man vill ha lacket riktigt jämnt och snyggt så är det nog en fördel att ta två. Det torkar snabbt som Isadora ofta gör så ett lager extra spelar inte den minsta roll för tiden du får lägga på att måla naglarna.

It's almost enough with one coat but if you want the polish to be really smooth and even you probably should go for two. It dries fast as Isadora often do so an extra coat doesn't matter when it comes to the time you have to put on making your mani.

Blå Måndag: China Glaze - Optical Illusion

Idag har jag swatchat nagellack som en galning. Det har ju varit rätt så dött på bloggen det senaste och jag kämpar på för att bryta den trenden. Jag ska försöka komma ikapp lite och ha swatchar redo för de dagarna jag inte hinner fotografera, som till exempel efter semestern när jag har börjat jobba igen. Jajamen, nu är jag nämligen på semester, så otroligt skönt!

Today I've been swatching nail polish like a mad man. It has been pretty dead on the blog lately and I'm working hard to break that trend. I'm trying to catch up and have swatches ready for the days when I won't have time to photograph, for example when my vacation is over and I start working again. Yep, I'm on vacation now, so incredibly nice!

Optical Illusion släpptes med China Glazes Prismatic kollektion och jag ägde faktiskt inte ett enda av de här lacken förrän detta damp ner i min brevlåda. Jag är supernöjd med att jag fick det blåa lacket eftersom det var det och det lila som jag var mest sugen på ur den här kollektionen. Tyvärr lyckades jag inte fånga den blåa färgen så bra på bilderna utan det ser lite mer grönt ut.

Optical Illusion was released with China Glaze's Prismatic collection and I actually didn't own a single on of these until this one ended up in my mailbox. I'm super pleased that I got the blue polish since that one and the purple one were the polishes I was most interested in from this collection. Unfortunetely I didn't manage to capture the blue color that well and it looks a bit green on the pictures.

Optical Illusion är som ni ser ett blått glitterlack med mikroglitter i blågrönt och större hexagoner i färgerna rosa, guld, lila och orange. Det är faktiskt ett riktigt fint lack och jag vet inte riktigt varför jag inte har införskaffat mig något ur den här kollektionen tidigare. Två lager var tillräckligt för att lacket skulle bli heltäckande och det krävdes ett lager Seche Vite för att få det slätt.

Optical Illusion is like you can see a blue glitter with micro glitter in bluegreen and larger hexes in the colors pink, gold, purple and orange. It is actually a really nice polish and I can't really understand why I haven't bought any polish for this collection before. Two coats is enough for full coverage and it only takes one coat of Seche Vite to get it smooth.

Blå Måndag: OPI - I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw

Måndag är här igen och nu är det bara två blåa måndagar kvar till min semester. Åh, vad jag längtar. Jag har inga planer överhuvudtaget och det är så skönt, jag ska bara ta det som det kommer och göra sådant jag tycker är skoj. Visst låter det underbart? Vad ska ni hitta på på eran semester?

Monday is here again and now it's only two blue Mondays left until my holiday. Oh, how I long! I don't have any plans what so ever and that feels great, I'm just going to go along as it comes and only do things I love. Doesn't that sound wonderful? What are your plans for your holidays?

Idag tänkte jag visa er ett OPI-lack som jag är säker på att ni har sett många gånger förut men inte hos mig. Jag kan egentligen inte svara på varför det här lacket har stått orört hos mig. Kanske för att jag har varit så förtjust i ljusa lack det senaste och det kan man inte kalla det här. I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw har inte bara världens längsta namn det är också ett mörkt blått krämlack.

Today I'm going to show you an OPI polish that I'm sure you have seen many times before but not here. I can't really tell you this polish hasn't been used before but maybe it is because I have had a huge crush on light polishes lately and you can't call this one light. I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw doesn't only have the longest name in the world it is also a dark blue creme.

Formulan är fantastiskt i det här lacket, det är nästan att det räcker med ett lager men eftersom naglarna blir lite flammiga då så fick det bli två lager och sedan ett lager topplack på det. Lacket torkar relativt fort.

The formula is fantastic in this polish, it's almost enough with one coat but since the nails get a bit mottled so I had to do another coat and then one coat topcoat upon that. The polish dried pretty quickly.

Ni kommer få se det här lacket imorgon med men då som bas till en nail art jag har fixat till jobbfesten jag ska gå på imorgon. Vill ni se fler snygga lack redan nu så ska ni gå till Linda som är värdinna för Blå Måndag.

Blå Måndag: Sephora - Will You Jump?

Att ha en blogg med olika teman för olika veckodagar gör verkligen att man förstår hur snabbt tiden rusar förbi. Jag kan inte förstå att det redan är måndag igen och dags för Blå Måndag hos Linda. Det känns som att det var max ett par dagar sedan jag visade er Poolside men uppenbarligen så är det ju en hel vecka sedan. Fördelen med att tiden rusar iväg så här fort är att semestern närmar sig med stormsteg. Åh, vad jag ska ägna fyra veckor åt sådant som jag tycker om, det kommer bli underbart!

To have a blog with different themes for different week days really makes you understand how fast time pass by. I can't understand that it's Monday already and time for Blue Monday at Linda's. It feels like it was just a couple of days since I showed you Poolside but obviously it was a whole week ago. The good part about time flying by is that my vacation is getting closer. Oh, I'm going to spend four weeks only doing things that I like, it's going to be awesome!

Idag ska ni få se ett av lacken jag köpte på Sephora i Köpenhamn, nämligen det blåa Will You Jump? Lacket är ett kobaltblå crelly och otroligt högglansigt. På bilderna har jag inte en droppe topplack och ni ser ju vilken reflektion det är i naglarna. Det som gjorde mig lite besviken med det här lacket är att den starka blå färgen som syns i flaskan inte riktigt följer med till naglarna utan där torkar det lite mörkare. Synd för jag gillar verkligen flaskfärgen.

Today you are about to see one of the polishes I got from Sephora in Copenhagen, the blue Will You Jump? The polish is a cobalt blue crelly and it's incredibly shiny. On the pictures I'm not wearing any topcoat at all and as you can see it has a huge reflection. What made me a bit disappointed about this polish is that it has a stronger blue color in the bottle but it gets lost when the polish dries on the nails, then it becomes darker. Too bad because I really like the color in the bottle.

En annan sak som jag inte är så förtjust i är Sephoras pensel. Den är rundad och väldigt bred och inte alls speciellt rolig att lacka med. Men tack vare att formulan på lacket är så bra så går det ändå hyfsat bra att få på lacket på naglarna utan några större problem. Tre lager går det åt i och med att lacket är ett crelly.

Another thing that I'm not so thrilled about is Sephora's brush. It's rounded and really wide and not fun at all to use. But thanks to the formula of the polish it's pretty easy to applicate without too much trouble.  Three coats is needed since the polish is a crelly.

Men trots att lacket inte har den blå färg jag hade förväntat mig och borsten lämnar en del att önska så gillar jag ändå lacket. För det är en fin färg i alla fall och det är verkligen glansigt och fint.

But even though the polish doesn't have the blue color I was expected and the brush leaves some to be wanted I still like the polish. It has a nice color and it really is shiny and pretty.

Blå Måndag: Isadora - Poolside

Idag är det måndag och som vi har lärt oss vid det här laget så innebär det Blå Måndag hos Lindas Nailorama. Det blir ett Isadora lack den här måndagen och av någon anledning så fick jag för mig att jag har visat en massa Isadora lack under denna temadag men en titt i arkivet visade att så är det ju inte alls. Endast ett fåtal Isadora har fått komma fram under Blå Måndag.

Today it's Monday and by now we know that that is equal to Blue Monday at Linda's Nailorama. I'm going to show you a Isadora polish this Monday and for some reason I thought that I had shown you a lot of Isadora during this theme but when I looked in the archive I realized that it's not like that at all. Only a few Isadora have been in the spotlight during Blue Monday.

Poolside som är namnet på både dagens lack och den kollektion den tillhör fick ni se redan förra veckan i min haul. Det är ett aqua-blått skimmerlack, eller det kanske till och med är små mikro glassflecks i det. Av någon anledning så har jag väldigt svårt att se skillnad på de båda finisharna.

You got to see Poolside, which is the name both on this polish and the collection it was released with, already last week in my haul. It's an aqua shimmer, or maybe it's even micro glassflecks. For some reason I'm having a lot of problem telling those two finishes apart.

Formulan var så klart kanon. Lacket är lite skirt men två lager räckte ändå för att jag skulle bli nöjd, torkade fort gjorde det med.

The formula was great of course. The polish is a little bit sheer but two coats was enough to make me satisfied anyway, it dried fast too.

Om ni har funderat över vad som har hänt med min lillfingernagel så kan jag berätta att det är ytterligare en gymolycka. Uppenbarligen är det ingen bra kombination att ha långa naglar och lyfta vikter. Men som tur är så brukar mina naglar vara snabba med att växa ut igen. Nageln ser redan bättre ut även om den fortfarande är väldigt kort.

If you have been wondering what has happened to the nail on my pinky I can tell you that it's another gym-accident. Apparently it isn't a good combination to have long nails and lifting weights. But luckily my nails usually grows really fast. The nail looks better already even though it still is really short.

Blå Måndag: H&M - Blue My Mind

Då var det dags för Blå Måndag hos Linda igen och egentligen så skulle jag vilja göra en Nail Art med blå bas och små guld kronor på för jisses vilken hockeymatch det var igår. Sverige spelade bättre än någonsin och efter att adrenalinruset hade lagt sig i min kropp så somnade jag med ett leende på läpparna. Såg ni matchen?

Men det blir ingen Tre Kronor Nail Art idag dels på grund av tidsbrist och dels på grund av att jag inte kunde hitta ett guldigt lack som skulle passa för att göra små kronor. Istället får ni njuta av ett vackert H&M-lack idag, för svenskt får det vara dagen till ära tycker jag.

It's time for Blue Monday at Linda's again and I wanted to do a Nail Art with blue base and small gold crowns on it cause Jesus what a hockey game it was last night. Sweden played better than ever and after the adrenaline rush had settled in my body I fell asleep with a huge smile on my lips. Did you see the game?

But there won't be a Tre Kronor Nail Art today, partly because lack of time and partly because I couldn't find a gold polish good enough to make small crowns. Instead you get to enjoy a beautiful H&M polish today, because I think it should be something Swedish at least to celebrate.

H&M gör verkligen otroliga lack och Blue My Mind är inget undantag. Det är ett blått krämlack med den perfekta blå tonen enligt mig. Det är konstigt egentligen hur snabbt blått har gått om alla andra färger och blivit min absoluta favoritfärg. Jag bara älskar blåa nagellack och om jag, hemska tanke, bara fick använda mig av en färg i resten av mitt liv så hade valet helt klart fallit på blått.

H&M really make amazing polishes and Blue My Mind is no exception. It's a blue creme with the perfect color if you ask me. It's strange really how quickly blue as passed every other color and ended up as my absolutely favorite color. I just love blue polishes and if I, awful thought, only got to use one color for the rest of my life that would definitely be blue.

Det räcker med två lager för att lacket ska bli opakt och det finns egentligen ingenting negativt att säga om formulan. Lacket är lättapplicerat och torkar fort. Det enda jag kan irritera mig lite på är korken till flaskan och att hela korken sitter fast i penseln. Det gör att det blir lite otympligt att använda den. Jag hade hellre sett en liknande design som Butter London har med en stor kork som döljer en mindre där penseln sitter, men man kan väl inte förvänta sig hur mycket som helst av ett lack som kostar ynka 40 kr.

It's enough with two coats to make the polish opaque and there isn't really anything negative to say about the formula. The polish is easy to applicate and it dries fast. The only thing that annoys me a bit is the tap and the fact that it's stuck to the brush. It makes it a bit clunky to use. I would rather have seen a similiar design as Butter London that has a big tap that hide a smaller one which is connected with the brush, but I suppose that you can't expect too much from a polish that costs only 40 SEK.

Nu blir det TV för min del, ska titta på Guldfesten från Kungsträdgården för det vill jag inte missa. Hur tror ni chanserna för ett bragdguld ser ut? Rätt höga skulle jag tro.

Blå Måndag: Zoya - Zuza

Då var det dags att delta i Blå Måndag hos Lindas Nailorama igen. Jag har verkligen saknat de här temadagarna under de veckorna som min blogg hade paus så det känns riktigt skönt att vara tillbaka igen. Så dagen till ära tänkte jag visa er ett lack som jag har haft länge men som jag inte har tagit mig för att använda och nu när jag har gjort det så ångrar jag verkligen att det inte har fått komma fram förr.

It's time for Blue Monday again at Linda's Nailorama. I have really missed these theme days during the weeks that my blog had it's break so it feels really good to be back again. To honor this day I'm going to show you a polish that I've had for a long time but that I haven't got around to use yet and now when I have I really regret that it hasn't been put on earlier.

Zuza är ett turkost lack som drar lätt åt grönt fullt med en massa silverskimmer. Otroligt vackert är vad det är! Det är ofta som jag tycker att ett lack ser ut att ha snyggt skimmer i flaskan som sedan försvinner på naglarna men inte här inte. Zuzas skimmer syns definitivt på naglarna också.

Zuza is a turquoise polish that leans a bit towards green with tons of silver shimmer. Incredibly beautiful is what it is! A lot of times I think that a polish has a gorgeous shimmer in the bottle out that disappears when you get it on your nails. Zuza's shimmer is definitely visible on the nails as well.

Formulan är föga överraskande superbra. Zoya gör helt klart fantastiska lack. Det är inte bara lättlackat det har perfekt konsistens för min smak dessutom. Det här lacket åker helt klart upp bland favoriterna.

The formula is not very suprising superb. Zoya truly does amazing polishes. It's not only easy to apply it has perfect consistency for my taste. This polish is for sure one of my new favorites.
